Q. In the initial phase, how does ISS Grounds Control operate on the residential end?

A. In the early going as well as throughout the entire process, we pledge to listen to your needs and provide landscape services of the highest quality and value.

• Meet: On-site consultation with one of our award winning designers.
• Interview: Consultant surveys client with a series of questions to determine your wants, needs, and budget to determine out how to best utilize the space considerations.  Carefully listening to you is our most important goal.
• Design: A custom-built CAD plan is created to incorporate your design criteria and our expertise.
• Estimate: An itemized estimate is developed to aid you in your decision-making process.
• Presentation: A client meeting is set up to review all aspects of the plan, answer any questions you may have, and make any necessary revisions before installation begins. 

Q. Once installation starts, what should I expect as far as supervision, etc.?

A. Each crew has a fulltime foreman onsite and is overseen by a superintendent.  The designer also closely monitors the job.   ISS Grounds Control handles all aspects of the installation, such as: irrigation, landscaping, hardscapes, lighting, renovation, etc.   When the job is finished, the designer will do an orientation with the client to ensure that all plant material is viable, and review operation of all mechanical systems.  

Q: Does ISS Grounds Control guarantee their plants and irrigation?

A: ISS Grounds Control will warranty your plantings according to the following
schedule:

• Trees – 1 year
• Shrubs – 60 days
• Turf – 30 days

This warranty protects all plants from disease, and/or improper planting techniques. This warranty does not cover loss due to vandalism, acts of God, or inattention to watering requirements by the property owner. This warranty is only valid when an automatic irrigation system is installed by ISS Grounds Control in conjunction with the landscape package.

ISS Grounds Control warranties irrigation systems to be free from defect for a period of 12 months from the date of installation. Any and all irrigation system repairs shall be completed at no cost to the owner for either materials or labor while the irrigation system warranty remains in effect. This warranty does not cover vandalism, regular maintenance items, acts of abuse, or acts of God.

A: Each office maintains a person on call 24 hours a day. Just contact your
service representative if an after hours emergency occurs.
