A: ISS Grounds Control will warranty your plantings according to the following
schedule:

• Trees – 1 year
• Shrubs – 60 days
• Turf – 30 days

This warranty protects all plants from disease, and/or improper planting
techniques. This warranty does not cover loss due to vandalism, acts of God
or inattention to watering requirements by the property owner. This warranty
is only valid when an automatic irrigation system is installed by Grounds
Control in conjunction with the landscape package.

Q: How long has ISS Grounds Control been in business?

A: ISS Grounds Control was established in 1974 as a commercial landscape
maintenance firm in San Antonio, Texas. Over the past 30 years, ISS Grounds
Control has grown throughout the Southwest to include operations in
California and Arizona.

Q: Does ISS Grounds Control have a 24 hour emergency service?

A: Each office maintains a person on call 24 hours a day. Just contact your
service representative if an after hours emergency occurs.

Q: Do ISS Grounds Control staff wear uniforms?

A: All ISS Grounds Control crew members are uniformed for easy identification. Each vehicle has the ISS Grounds Control logo and contact numbers on the truck for easy identification as well. Construction crews wear company hard hats and safety vests with the company logo to provide easy identification for our residential and commercial clients.

Q: What is the length of a maintenance contract?

A: Historically, the ISS Grounds Control standard contract is for 12 months. However, many of our clients elect to retain ISS Grounds Control for 24-36 months, to reduce the cost of re-bidding and qualifying contractors. This also helps ensure that there is no gap in services. A long-term partnership allows us to learn all your needs and provide the highest level of care.

Q: How many times per week does ISS Grounds Control provide maintenance services?

A: Maintenance services are generally provided one time per week. Properties can be serviced more frequently based upon your needs. Some of our clients have an onsite crew that remains on the property daily to ensure that the property looks its best every day.

Q: Is there a penalty for early termination of a contract?

A: All agreements include the ability to cancel the agreement with 30 day notice without penalty to either party. Property owners and managers enjoy the flexibility that they may need when changes occur.

Q: How often is the irrigation checked?

A: Irrigation is checked in many cases each week. This is typically something that is necessary when turf areas are part of the maintenance scope of work. Shrub beds and planting areas that are watered by drip systems can be checked on a more infrequent basis.
